Information from Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development in 2019 reported that of 18-24year old-girls and women in Ugandan, one in three girls (35%) reported experiencing sexual violence during their childhoods. This included 11% of girls experiencing pressured or forced sex. Of Ugandans ages 13-17 years, one in four girls (25%) reported sexual violence in the past year in 2018.
